There
are various form of care such as service at home and the club
for adults and the old people. The first one takes care of persons
who live on the teritory of the comunity of Kikinda and who
are not regular inmates of the centre, but who need medical
aid and welfare and they need somebody who can help them to
straighten up their apartments.

Nurses, technicians, fostresses and cleaning women regularly visit the old pople during the week. At the moment this service takes care of 30 persons who live in the town of Kikinda and its vicinity.

The club for adults and the
old people has been opened since February 2003. Its primary
function is to satisfy basic needs of its members, but also
social rehabilitation, developing of self-help and solidarity
through the meetings.
|
This club collaborates with pensioners' and invalids' association , Ministry of Social Welfare of community of Kikinda, elementary schools on the teritory of this community, cultural and
entertaining companies, theatre and some other cultural organizations.
